In response to the recent violence and fear many immigrant families and communities are experiencing in Minnesota, Nomad Design Co. created the Minnesota Candle with purpose and intention. This candle isn’t just about scent — it’s about standing with our neighbors, raising awareness, and giving back in a meaningful way.

Why this candle matters:
Right now, immigrant communities in Minneapolis and beyond are facing intimidation, trauma, and ongoing federal immigration enforcement that has left families in hiding and children away from school. The Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC) is on the ground working to support those impacted and organize for justice and dignity.

How your purchase helps:
50% of all proceeds from this candle will be directly donated to MIRAC — a grassroots, multiracial, volunteer-led organization fighting for immigrant rights, safety, and community resources.

Scent Notes: citrus, ozone and pine

These candles are made with all natural coconut soy wax and a crackling wood wick. They use premium fragrance oil that is phthalate-free, paraben-free, non-toxic, and gluten-free. Each candle is hand poured into a 9oz amber jar topped with a gold lid. 

Approximately 40-50 hours of burn time.

These candles are made with 100% biodegradable coconut soy wax and blended with high quality fragrances that are phthalate-free. They don’t use toxic chemicals, ever. The crackling wood wicks are ethically sourced and supported by the Forest Stewardship Council.
